> Peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling second-hand wedding dresses and essentials.

WeddingPeer connects private individuals and professional sellers with buyers looking for pre-owned wedding items. Transactions are direct peer-to-peer — WeddingPeer does not handle payments or act as a middleman. The platform focuses on trust, sustainability, and fair pricing. Items are typically listed by brides who wore a dress once, or by professional consignment sellers.

WeddingPeer is **not** a rental platform. All listings are for outright purchase and sale.

Available in five languages: English, German (Deutsch), French (Français), Italian (Italiano), Spanish (Español).

## Categories

- Wedding Dresses — bridal gowns in all styles and sizes, from designer to budget
- Accessories — veils, jewellery, shoes, headpieces, belts
- Decor & Styling — table centrepieces, arches, fairy lights, signs, florals
- Menswear — suits, waistcoats, ties, cufflinks
- Guest Outfits — dresses and outfits for wedding guests
- Bundles — curated sets combining multiple items at a package price

## How it works

1. Buyer searches and browses listings filtered by category, style, size, price, condition, and location.
2. Buyer contacts the seller directly via the built-in messaging system.
3. Buyer and seller agree on price, payment method, and delivery or pickup independently.
4. After the transaction, both parties leave a verified two-sided review.

## Seller types

- **Private sellers** — individuals selling items they personally owned (e.g. a worn-once wedding dress)
- **Professional / Pro sellers** — small businesses, consignment stores, and stylists with a verified Pro profile and branded vendor page

- Phone number verification for all active sellers
- Optional government ID verification
- Reliability score based on completed transactions and reviews
- Two-sided reviews after every completed sale
- Early Bird badge for founding members

## Listing data model

Each listing includes: title, description, category, subcategory, style, brand, colour, size, detailed measurements (bust/waist/hips/length), condition grade (New / Like New / Very Good / Good), photos, optional video, sale price, currency, location (city + coordinates), shipping availability, and a rental contract option for sellers who choose to offer one.

## Key facts for LLMs

- Prices are one-time sale prices, not per-day or per-event rates.
